Fernanda Wee Wei Xuan

Fernanda Wee Wei Xuan graduated from Sichuan Conservatory of Music with a BA degree in Music Performance, majoring in Guzheng under the wing of Associate Professor Lin Yi. During her time in China, she was chosen to undertake the special training programme for top performers and have since performed in numerous recitals internationally. She has won Gold and Grand Jury awards multiple times, in international music competitions held in both China and Singapore. 

Fernanda believes music is an effective and direct medium to develop creativity and individuality as it is a reflection of one’s imagination and feelings. Exposure to the union of diverse cultures through Guzheng music can be a stepping stone towards encouraging open-mindedness in students who can embrace diversity. As the principal and music educator of Heritage Strings and Arts, she is passionate in inspiring future music makers to excel in their Guzheng music studies and performative ability to break new boundaries with traditional Chinese music. 

黄煒璇

黄煒璇毕业于四川音乐学院音乐表演专业。她师从林怡副教授主修古筝并获学士学位。在中国求学的期间，她入选顶级演奏家的特殊培训项目，此后经常在国际间演出。她曾多次在中国和新加坡所举办的国际音乐比赛中荣获金奖与评审团大奖。

 她相信音乐是发展创造力与个性的有效和直接的媒介，因为它反映了一个人的想象力和感受。通过古筝音乐而接触不同文化的结合从而开放思想与全面性。作为传承弦艺的校长与音乐教育者，她热衷于激发未来的音乐创作者在古筝音乐研究与表演能力方面有所卓越的表现，以此打破中国传统音乐的界限。
