Heritage Strings & Arts (HSA)

Setting up our first studio in Marina Square Mall, we wanted to provide an accessible location for students who were interested in traditional Chinese arts, as well as an environment where HSA could establish traditional Chinese music as a strong art form in our Chinese heritage. We are passionate in our mission to spread the awareness of Chinese music with a focus in Guzheng and Guqin to our local community.

We believe music is universal. It speaks to our hearts and can be appreciated by everyone from all cultures and backgrounds. Our mission is to promote traditional Chinese music by staying relatable to the here-and-now. Our teachers are dedicated to inspire students through in depth music courses and workshops where students learn to appreciate the beautiful heritage of Chinese music. Heritage Strings and Arts hopes to leave an enduring influence on every student to nurture a music loving community.

To optimise the learning experience, we provide a conducive and relaxing space for our students to enjoy music and the arts. We also offer a selection of Chinese tea produced from the core production areas of China for you to try!

Our Team

With plenty of experience in teaching, our teachers are able to conduct lessons in an interactive and conducive environment. You will learn proper hand postures and shape, and train each and every individual finger to be independent and agile so as to produce a crisp and bright tone. During your lessons at Heritage Strings, your teacher will help you master the music piece of choice.
