Liu Sheng Ru

Sheng Ru holds a Master of Music from London College of Music & University of West London. She obtained her BA in Music Performance from the China Conservatory of Music, majoring in the Guzheng. She minors in the Zhongruan, Konghou, and piano. She was the Director of Shenzhen Guzheng Society as well as a Member of China Musicians Association.

Sheng Ru is also a certified Guzheng examiner of the Chinese Musicians Association (Social Art Level Examination) as well as the Guzheng examiner of China Conservatory of Music.
She has performed with numerous orchestras such as Shenzhen Hongfa Xinguang Chinese Orchestra and the Macao Chinese Orchestra in 2012. She also performanced in “Xu Xiaolin’s Works Concert”, “Mr. Chen Anhua’s Concert”

In the same year, Shengru won First prize in the 6th “Fangyin Cup” Guzheng Competition. She has also recorded various CD performances such as the Flute Concerto, DVD of “Guzheng Enlightenment”, DVD of “Hundred Lines of Guzheng”, “Night of Lagu” Xu Xiaolin’s works compilation.

She is also an editor of the elementary Guzheng teaching curriculum released by the Guangdong Province University for the Elderly.

刘圣茹先后毕业于深圳艺术学校古筝专业，师从沙里晶、中国音乐学院国乐系古筝专业，师从邱霁、后于西伦敦音乐学院研究生毕业，新加坡莱佛士音乐学院就读，师从尹群。现任中国音乐家协会社会艺术水平古筝考级考官，中国音乐学院古筝考级考官，深圳市古筝学会理事。
